She is an experienced facilitator, bringing her own brand of enthusiasm and experience to all her clients.
She has worked with organisations from oil and gas, local government, the health service, life sciences, the voluntary sector, transport and manufacturing both in the UK and internationally.
She helps her clients to fulfil their vision through developing both their business and their people. Beth has a unique blend of talents that come from having an IT/systems background blended with sound consultancy and people skills. This broad range of experience enables her to understand quickly her client’s business and thus to give them best value from the outset of their work together. She has wide experience of working with groups from culturally diverse and international backgrounds.
Beth is the founder of the red horse speaks, the first equine assisted learning (EAL) programme in Scotland, where she works alongside horses to teach leadership and personal development to clients of all ages and abilities. As a result of all the positive feedback received from her clients, she is currently researching to find out why EAL is so successful for her PhD. This research has taken her into the fields of neuroscience, psychology (both human and equine), sport science and leadership and she brings this knowledge to all of her work - both with and without the horses. She is a visiting lecturer in EAL at Nottingham Trent University.
the red horse speaks is internationally recognised and as a result Beth has been invited to speak about her work in UK, USA, Australia and Europe and she and her EAL partner Sue Hendry are becoming sought after as teachers by others who want to enter this field or develop their skills further. As well as speaking to groups about her work with the horses, Beth is also invited to speak more generally about leadership, entrepreneurship and about following dreams and passions.
